Synthetic protein
Purity
Greater than 99.0% as determined by RP-HPLC.
Formulation
Sincalide was lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) solution with no additives.
Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Sincalide in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O at a concentration of 0.5mg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Shipping
At ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store the product at the temperature recommended below.
Storage/Expiration
Store the lyophilized protein at -80 °C. Lyophilized protein remains stable until the expiry date when stored at –80 °C. Aliquot reconstituted protein to avoid repeated Lyophilized Sincalide although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCK-8 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Avoid freezing/thawing cycles and store at -80 °C for long term storage. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4 °C for a week.
Quality Control Test
Greater than 99.0% as determined by RP-HPLC.
Physical Appearance
Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
